Apex Tactical Mag Release (P-10C Gen 1)

The Apex Extended Mag Release for the CZ P10c pistol is a direct replacement for the factory magazine release and improves performance by making it easier to release even a fully loaded magazine.

Extended to 2mm longer than factory release, on the thumb side of the dominant hand only.

Improved cam angle allows for easier release of the magazine.

30 lines per inch checkered face.

Machined from barstock steel, fully heat-treated and finished in black Melonite.

Available for right or left-handed shooters, determined by the side of the release that is extended. Choose according to the shooter's dominant hand. (I.e. a right-handed version will have the left side of the release extended.)

For use in the CZ P-10C models with a fully ambidextrous magazine release. Not for use in newer P-10 models with reversible, unidirectional magazine releases.

How it works.

The fully ambidextrous magazine release on a P-10C doesn't act directly on the magazine like most pistols. The magazine is retained by a separate spring loaded catch. As the release is pushed, a lever on the catch slides along the cut-out in the center of the release, rotating the catch and releasing the magazine.

The cut-out of the Apex Competition Mag Release has an improved cam angle for easier release of the magazine. This change restricts the release to working from one side only.

The working side of the Competition Mag Release is furthermore extended by 2mm.
