Apex Duty/Carry Action Kit (Shield / 2.0)

The Apex Duty/Carry Kit for the M&P Shield was designed to provide the Shield pistol owner a light, smooth, consistent trigger pull with the advantages of shorter over-travel and more detectable trigger / shorter reset. All of the components work together to provide a pull weight within the acceptable range for a top end, service pistol. However, armorer or gunsmith installation of the Ultimate Striker Block (USB) into the Shield slide is strongly recommended.

Expected Results

• Reduced trigger pull weight:
  • Approximately 2lb lighter in the M&P Shield
  • In the 5.5 lbs range in the M&P Shield 2.0
• Smooth uptake and reset
• Reduces reset length
• Reduces over-travel

• M&P9 Shield / M&P40 Shield - Fits M&P Shield in 9mm and .40
• M&P Shield 2.0                   - Fits M&P9 Shield 2.0 in 9mm and .40
• M&P45 Shield                     - Fits M&P Shield and Shield 2.0 in .45

Gunsmith installation strongly recommended. (The Shield sight removal in order to install the USB Kit is extremely difficult. Removal requires delicate precision so as not to damage the sights or slide.)
